Why Not All? – Mark 1:32-34

Welcome to Scriptures for Life with TorahFamily.org. Taking time to focus on the Father’s way.

Mark 1:32-34
That evening after sunset the people brought to Jesus all the sick and demon-possessed. The whole town gathered at the door, and Jesus healed many who had various diseases. He also drove out many demons, but he would not let the demons speak because they knew who he was.

Have you ever wondered why Yeshua only healed “many”? Why didn’t He heal all of them? Seriously. Think about this. What if you were there and one of those who needed healed but wasn’t. How would you have felt? The thing is, this not only happened then, it happens still today. “Many” may be healed and get better. But what about those who don’t get healed?

Exactly why Yeshua didn’t heal them all is a question I don’t have an answer to. Why He still doesn’t today is beyond me. Whatever the reason, we must remember that He knows best. Just as a parent will say “no” to certain requests of their children, likewise, He will do the same. And just as the children don’t understand, sometimes, neither will we.

Let this be a focus in your time of meditation throughout the day. Until next time, shalom!
