What If? – Acts 14:21-22

Welcome to Scriptures for Life with TorahFamily.org. Taking time to focus on the Father’s way.

Acts 14:21-22
They preached the good news in that city and won a large number of disciples. Then they returned to Lystra, Iconium and Antioch, strengthening the disciples and encouraging them to remain true to the faith. “We must go through many hardships to enter the kingdom of God,” they said.

“We must go through many hardships to enter the kingdom of God,” That’s a phrase many people don’t like hearing. We must realize that we are not guaranteed an easy life. Oh, it’s easy in the sense that His instructions are not hard. As he said, His burden is light. However, what we receive from the world or even from people who claim the faith but refuse to walk in it, well, that’s a completely different story.

So the question is, what are we doing to prepare ourselves for this kind of treatment? The prophets, the disciples and even Yeshua were treated harshly. Very harshly in most cases, even to the point of death. While most of us would like to think that wouldn’t happen today, what if it did?

Let this be a focus in your time of meditation throughout the day. Until next time, shalom!
