Unaware? – 2 Corinthians 2:10-11

Welcome to Scriptures for Life with TorahFamily.org. Taking time to focus on the Father’s way.

2 Corinthians 2:10
If you forgive anyone, I also forgive him. And what I have forgiven – if there was anything to forgive – I have forgiven in the sight of Christ for your sake, 11 in order that Satan might not outwit us. For we are not unaware of his schemes.

“For we are not unaware of his schemes.” The problem with many today is that they are unaware of his schemes. The topic here in verse ten and eleven is all about forgiving others. Yet, in Paul’s case it’s about forgiving others when they have done wrong to his friends. He wasn’t going to hold a grudge against someone who offended a person who was close to him.

The enemy’s tactics are to divide and conquer. He’ll divide in whatever manner he can. Even if it means to get someone to hold a grudge against someone who never directly offended them. It happens all too often. Holding a grudge, no matter who it’s for, only means you have no room in your hands to hold on to the word.

Let this be a focus in your time of meditation throughout the day. Until next time, shalom!
