Time Alone – Luke 21:37

Welcome to Scriptures for Life with TorahFamily.org. Taking time to focus on the Father’s way.

Luke 21:37
Each day Jesus was teaching at the temple, and each evening he went out to spend the night on the hill called the Mount of Olives.

This verse speaks volumes to me. Yeshua the Messiah needed time alone. So how much time do you spend alone form the world? Not just alone from people. I’m talking alone from everyone and everything.

It’s great to have people around you. It’s great to have friends you trust right by your side. But we need time alone. You can only give out of yourself what you first let the Father put into you. If you notice the verse says Yeshua was in the temple every day. Yet, each evening He went out by Himself as well.

If we don’t get that time alone with YHWH, we will quickly find our selves going down the path of burnout if we don’t watch it. We will also find ourselves more susceptible to temptations when we don’t spend that time we need alone as well.

We all need it. We do. There is no way around it. So what are we doing to make that time alone happen?

Let this be a focus in your time of meditation throughout the day. Until next time, Shalom.
