The Example – 1 Peter 2:22,23

Welcome to Scriptures for Life with TorahFamily.org. Taking time to focus on the Father’s way.

1 Peter 2:22,23
He committed no sin, and no deceit was found in his mouth.” 23 When they hurled their insults at him, he did not retaliate; when he suffered, he made no threats. Instead, he entrusted himself to him who judges justly.

The previous verses talked about how Yeshua gave us the example of suffering for doing good. And here we see what he did during the suffering. I want to read our verse one more time. But as I do, I ask that you put yourself in His shoes and remember that this is the example we are to be following.

Ready? Here we go.

1 Peter 2:22,23
“He committed no sin, and no deceit was found in his mouth.” 23 When they hurled their insults at him, he did not retaliate; when he suffered, he made no threats. Instead, he entrusted himself to him who judges justly.”

Let’s face it, the times that we live in are getting darker by the day. If a time comes that it becomes illegal to be a follower of Yeshua, could you follow His example? Even then, can you follow His example today?

Let this be a focus in your time of meditation throughout the day. Until next time, Shalom.
