Sparrows – Luke 12:6-7

Welcome to Scriptures for Life with TorahFamily.org. Taking time to focus on the Father’s way.

Luke 12:6-7
Are not five sparrows sold for two pennies? Yet not one of them is forgotten by God. Indeed, the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Don’t be afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows.

One day I had to drive into town for some errands. As I pulled up to a curb to park I saw a bird that only had one leg. It was struggling in getting around and landing on certain things but it was still making it. I just sat there for a moment and watched it as it was struggling to get by.

As I was watching it, this verse in Luke came to mind. Ya know, it doesn’t matter what you’re going through, He sees you. He knows. He knows. Trust in Him. Is it easy? Not always. In fact sometimes it can be down right hard. But you can do it. He sees. He knows. He’ll see you through. It may not be when you want or how you want, but he’ll see you through. You’re worth far more than sparrows to the creator.

Let this be a focus in your time of meditation throughout the day. Until next time, Shalom.
