Shining Armor – Psalms 26:2

Welcome to Scriptures for Life with TorahFamily.org. Taking time to focus on the Father’s way.

Psalms 26:2
Test me, O YHWH, and try me, examine my heart and my mind;

I don’t know about you, but I’ve never liked tests. Even if I knew the subject really good, I was a nervous wreck. Trust me when I say, my prayer life was very active in school. I’m talking from 1st grade on up. The thought of failing just freaked me out.

But here’s the thing, how can we know who we are if we aren’t tested? It’s when we’re tested that we see our weaknesses. We can then see the area’s that we need to improve upon. To make ourselves stronger in YHWH.

Think of it this way, a knight in shining armor may look good, but a knight whose armor is bent, scared and discolored, now that is a warrior who’s been through some battles and back again.

Going through a test isn’t always easy, in fact, I don’t think they are designed to be easy. However, there is always something we can learn from them. So if your going through a test right now, focus on what you should be learning from YHWH. If you do that, you’ll always come out ahead.

Let this be a focus in your time of meditation throughout the day. Until next time, Shalom.
