Remove the Dross – Proverbs 25:4-5

Welcome to Scriptures for Life with TorahFamily.org. Taking time to focus on the Father’s way.

Proverbs 25:4-5
Remove the dross from the silver, and out comes material for the silversmith; remove the wicked from the king’s presence, and his throne will be established through righteousness.

What an analogy. Remove the impurities from silver, and you can make beautiful things with it. Remove those who are wicked and a kings throne will be established in righteousness.

Interesting isn’t it? This is very reminiscent of what we see regarding prophecy. What do we see in the scriptures about the end times? We see where YWHW purifies His people through the tribulation. Without going into great detail, a short read of chapters 2 & 3 in Revelation will show that all but one church will be going through purification. Removing the dross if you will. And we see He removes the wicked as He begins His reign for the Millennium. Again, our verse says…

4 Remove the dross from the silver, and out comes material for the silversmith; 5 remove the wicked from the king’s presence, and his throne will be established through righteousness. So, the question is, are you willing to get purified?

Let this be a focus in your time of meditation throughout the day. Until next time, Shalom.
