Lord Have Mercy – James 2:12-13

Welcome to Scriptures for Life with TorahFamily.org. Taking time to focus on the Father’s way.

James 2:12
Speak and act as those who are going to be judged by the law that gives freedom, 13 because judgment without mercy will be shown to anyone who has not been merciful. Mercy triumphs over judgment!

Did you hear that? It said “judgment without mercy will be shown to anyone who has not been merciful.” So then, are you merciful? Did you know that you will be given what you have given to others? Shouldn’t that at least make us stop and think a little before we proceed with a judgmental attitude? Shouldn’t that make us stop and think before we throw careless words around?

How easy it is to look at others who are not gifted the same as you in a condescending light. How easy it is to talk about others who are not as talented as you are in certain areas. Just remember, judgment without mercy will be shown to anyone who has not been merciful.

A day is coming for all of us when we stand before the throne of YHWH. What will you be given?

Let this be a focus in your time of meditation throughout the day. Until next time, shalom!
