Judged – Hebrews 4:12

Welcome to Scriptures for Life with TorahFamily.org. Taking time to focus on the Father’s way.

Hebrews 4:12
For the word of God is living and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes
of the heart.

It says “It judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.” Have you ever thought about this before? The Word of YHWH is alive and it judges our attitudes. It judges our intentions. Let that sink in for a moment. It doesn’t just judge what we do, it judges what we think and intend to do.

Intentions. Thoughts. While our actions can define who we are, our thoughts are the starting points for those actions. I’ve once said before. Sow a thought, reap an action. Sow an action, reap a habit. Sow a habit, reap a destiny. Everything starts with our thoughts. Thoughts can be temptations. What we do with them is very important. How many of those thoughts do we allow ourselves to dwell on?

Our thoughts can bring fear. Our thoughts can bring hatred. Our thoughts can bring envy. Our thoughts will be judged.

Let this be a focus in your time of meditation throughout the day. Until next time, shalom!
