His Side – Proverbs 21:30

Welcome to Scriptures for Life with TorahFamily.org. Taking time to focus on the Father’s way.

Proverbs 21:30
There is no wisdom, no insight, no plan that can succeed against YHWH.

Nothing can succeed against YHWH. Nothing. Man can make their plans to rule the world, to own all the money and whatever else, but it will come to nothing in the end.

Now consider Joshua 5:13-14

Now when Joshua was near Jericho, he looked up and saw a man standing in front of him with a drawn sword in his hand. Joshua went up to him and asked, “Are you for us or for our enemies?” “Neither,” he replied, “but as commander of the army of YHWH I have now come.” Then Joshua fell facedown to the ground in reverence, and asked him, “What message does my Lord have for his servant?”

This is where we see the instructions given for overcoming Jericho. And we obviously see where YHWH was with them as Jericho was overthrown. But He said He wasn’t for them, or their enemies at first. So what changed it?

They followed Him in obedience.

There is no wisdom, no insight, no plan that can succeed against YHWH.

If you want YHWH on your side, get on His.

Let this be a focus in your time of meditation throughout the day. Until next time, Shalom.
