Good Deeds – Proverbs 5:21

Welcome to Scriptures for Life with TorahFamily.org. Taking time to focus on the Father’s way.

Proverbs 5:21
For a man’s ways are in full view of YHWH, and he examines all his paths.

Now, that should make all of us stop and think for a moment. Not one thing is hidden from His sight. Oh, sure, we KNOW that. But how many of us LIVE that. And we can’t forget that what we do first starts in our heart, with what we dwell on.

That’s why we also see Jeremiah 17:10 say “I YHWH search the heart and examine the mind, to reward a man according to his conduct, according to what his deeds deserve.”

What do your deeds deserve? What a thought, right? To imagine that every deed we do will be judged by YHWH Himself. Does that concern you or encourage you? It can be a good thing if we make it that way.

All of our deeds start in our heart. However, they are completed in what we do. Meaning, you can think of doing good things, but it those thoughts aren’t carried out, well, then they won’t become good deeds.

Let this be a focus in your time of meditation throughout today. Until next time, Shalom
