What Goes Around … – Proverbs 26:27

Welcome to Scriptures for Life with TorahFamily.org. Taking time to focus on the Father’s way.

Proverbs 26:27
If a man digs a pit, he will fall into it; if a man rolls a stone, it will roll back on him.

In essence, what goes around comes around. You reap what you sow. If you plan evil for someone, that evil will come back on you. I’m reminded of the story of Esther. The man named Haman had plotted out his plan against Mordecai and the Jews. Just as he thought his plan was all going to come to pass it turned around and all fell back on him.

Esther 7:9-10
Then Harbona, one of the eunuchs attending the king, said, “A gallows seventy-five feet high stands by Haman’s house. He had it made for Mordecai, who spoke up to help the king.” The king said, “Hang him on it!” So they hanged Haman on the gallows he had prepared for Mordecai. Then the king’s fury subsided.

Bottom line, don’t plan evil for someone. Remember, vengeance belongs to YHWH.

27 If a man digs a pit, he will fall into it; if a man rolls a stone, it will roll back on him.

Let this be a focus in your time of meditation throughout today. Until tomorrow, Shalom.
