Future Hope – Proverbs 24:19-20

Welcome to Scriptures for Life with TorahFamily.org. Taking time to focus on the Father’s way.

Proverbs 24:19-20
Do not fret because of evil men or be envious of the wicked, for the evil man has no future hope, and the lamp of the wicked will be snuffed out.

How easy it can be to see those who may be living an unrighteous life and it appear they have everything they want and all is going good. But is that what this life is to be about? Getting what you want?

Plus, how easy it can be to be fearful of evil men when you see them succeeding in their schemes. A quick look at history and you can see how many believers have been martyred by such men.

The wicked may glory in their time now, but they have no future. They will be cut off from the land.

Proverbs 10:30
The righteous will never be uprooted, but the wicked will not remain in the land.

So,

19 Do not fret because of evil men or be envious of the wicked, 20 for the evil man has no future hope, and the lamp of the wicked will be snuffed out.

Keep your eyes holding fast to that which is to come.

Let this be a focus in your time of meditation throughout the day. Until next time, Shalom.
