Focused – Psalm 69:1-3

Welcome to Scriptures for Life with TorahFamily.org. Taking time to focus on the Father’s way.

Psalm 69:1
Save me, O God, for the waters have come up to my neck. 2 I sink in the miry depths, where there is no foothold. I have come into the deep waters; the floods engulf me. 3 I am worn out calling for help; my throat is parched. My eyes fail, looking for my God.

Ever felt like your life was in this kind of situation before? When it felt like everything around you was crumbling. It can happen to anyone at anytime. Just ask Job. Sometimes He may strip us of all we know and are familiar with. Not to be mean. But rather to get our focus back on Him.

So, it’s really out of love that He allows these type of situations to happen in our life. That’s right. Love. How much more do we appreciate the good times when we’ve gone through the bad? If you’re going through a hard time right now, it’s for a reason. Odds are, that reason is to get you less dependent on the world and more focused on Him.

Let this be a focus in your time of meditation throughout the day. Until next time, shalom!
