Ephesians 6:11 – Ignorance is not Bliss (August 13)

Hello and thanks for joining in on to today’s daily devotion. Today is Saturday. August 13th. The
seventh day of the Hebraic week. And everybody says “HalleluYah”.

Our verse today is Ephesians 6:11.

Ephesians 6:11
Put on the full armor of God so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes.

So you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. If we are to stand against the devil’s schemes, we have to recognize them first. Otherwise, how would we stand up against them? Consider 2 Corinthians 2: 11.

2 Corinthians 2: 11
in order that Satan might not outwit us. For we are not unaware of his schemes.

Are you aware or unaware of Satan’s schemes? Let’s read this verse with the previous verse.

2 Corinthians 2:10
If you forgive anyone, I also forgive him. And what I have forgiven – if there was anything to forgive – I have forgiven in the sight of Christ for your sake, 11 in order that Satan might not outwit us. For we are not unaware of his schemes.

This tells us that Satan schemes to get us to hold unforgiveness toward one another. Yet, Paul even declared he would not hold unforgiveness even on behalf of others. Can you do that?

Don’t hold unforgiveness towards anybody! Don’t be unaware of his schemes.

Let this be a focus in your time of meditation throughout the day. Until tomorrow, shalom!
