Confidential – Proverbs 3:32

Welcome to Scriptures for Life with TorahFamily.org. Taking time to focus on the Father’s way.

Proverbs 3:32
…for YHWH detests a perverse man but takes the upright into his confidence.

It says YHWH takes the upright into His confidence. Think about that for a minute. He takes the upright into His confidence.

Have you ever had someone share something with you in “confidence” before? It’s when they share something that very few people know about. Now, imagine YHWH walking up to you, putting His arm around you and saying “Hey, not many people know about this but I want to share it with you.”

OH MY STARS!!!! Can you imagine the maker of the universe sharing something intimate with you? Something that very few people know! I get excited just thinking about that.

The word for “confidence” in the Hebrew is “sod”. It means secret. He shares the secret things with those who are upright! This is also found in Psalm 25

Psalm 25:14
YHWH CONFIDES in those who fear him; he makes his covenant known to them.

Again, we see the word “sod” in the Hebrew.

Do you want to be so close to the Father that you hear Him share His secret things with you? Pursue the uncompromising upright life. Learn to fear Him.

Let this be a focus in your time of meditation throughout today. Until next time, Shalom
