Between You and Him – Revelation 2:20

Welcome to Scriptures for Life with TorahFamily.org. Taking time to focus on the Father’s way.

Revelation 2:20
Nevertheless, I have this against you: You tolerate that woman Jezebel, who calls herself a prophetess. By her teaching she misleads my servants into sexual immorality and the eating of food sacrificed to idols.

These were the words spoken to the church of Thyatira. If you notice, He says some in this fellowship was tolerating a woman named Jezebel. He doesn’t say they were following her. They were just tolerating her. However, there appeared to be some who did hold to her teachings in this fellowship according verse 24.

24 Now I say to the rest of you in Thyatira, to you who do not hold to her teaching and have not learned Satan’s so-called deep secrets (I will not impose any other burden on you): 25 Only hold on to what you have until I come.

This verse also shows there were some who appeared to have nothing to do with this Jezebel. So, now we have to ask ourselves, who do we follow? Do we follow anyone besides Yeshua? Don’t let anyone come between you and Him.

Let this be a focus in your time of meditation throughout the day. Until next time, shalom!
