Approval – Galatians 1:15-17

Welcome to Scriptures for Life with TorahFamily.org. Taking time to focus on the Father’s way.

Galatians 1:15-17
But when God, who set me apart from birth and called me by his grace, was pleased to reveal his Son in me so that I might preach him among the Gentiles, I did not consult any man, nor did I go up to Jerusalem to see those who were apostles before I was, but I went immediately into Arabia and later returned to Damascus.

Much like Jeremiah, Paul says he was set apart from birth for the express purpose of preaching the truth. The interesting thing I find with Paul’s words to the Galatians is how he made it a priority to seek after the Father and not seek approval from any man. He says he went immediately to Arabia. Why there? I personally believe for no other reason but to visit the mountain where YHWH spoke with Moses and entered into covenant with Israel. On Mount Sinai. The mountain of the appointed times.

When you believe the Father is calling you to do something, get one on one with Him. Seek Him and not any mans approval.

Let this be a focus in your time of meditation throughout the day. Until next time, shalom!
