All or Nothing – Proverbs 11:27

Welcome to Scriptures for Life with TorahFamily.org. Taking time to focus on the Father’s way.

Proverbs 11:27
He who seeks good finds goodwill, but evil comes to him who searches for it.

OK… The question I have is this “Who doesn’t seek goodwill?” Everybody does right? And as far as believers go, who searches for evil? Nobody, right?

Here’s the thing. In Luke 11:23 Yeshua said “He who is not with me is against me, and he who does not gather with me, scatters. “

This is a pretty big statement. With this statement from Yeshua, it can be understood that if we are not seeking good, by default we are seeking evil. One may not be purposed in their heart in seeking evil, but that isn’t the point. In the eyes of YHWH, if we are not seeking Him, we may as well be seeking evil. This is why Jeremiah the Prophet said the following.

Jeremiah 29:13
You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.

When we seek Him, it can’t be half hearted. It has to be all or nothing. Because to Him, if it’s not all, it’s nothing.

Let this be a focus in your time of meditation throughout the day. Until next time, Shalom.
