Trust – Psalms 20:7

Welcome to Scriptures for Life with TorahFamily.org. Taking time to focus on the Father’s way.

Psalms 20:7
Some trust in chariots and some in horses, but we trust in the name of YHWH our God.

Our hope is to be in YHWH. More often than not He seems to provide through means we just don’t see.

Think about it. If you were standing at the Red Sea with Moses and saw the Egyptian army coming, would you have really even considered the Red Sea dividing in two as an option? If you were with Gideon, would you have thought the enemy was going to destroy itself? If you were King Saul, would you have dreamed YHWH would provide a young shepherd boy to kill the threatening giant with a slingshot?

Sometimes I can’t help but think YHWH just has a good time with surprising us with how He’s going to deliver us from circumstances. What do you trust in? Who do you trust in? Do you trust in man’s creations?

Psalm 20:7
Some trust in chariots and some in horses, but we trust in the name of YHWH our God.

No matter what you’re going through, trust in Him today. It’s not always easy. Yet, every step taken in trust makes you one step stronger in Him.

Let this be a focus in your time of meditation throughout the day. Until next time, Shalom.
