2 Chronicles. 20:22,23 – Give Praise Part 2 (June 2)

Hello and thanks for joining in on to today’s daily devotion. Today is Thursday. June 2nd. The 5th day of the Hebraic week.

Our verses today is 2 Chronicles 20:22, 23.

2 Chronicles 20:22
As they began to sing and praise, YHWH set ambushes against the men of Ammon and Moab and Mount Seir who were invading Judah, and they were defeated. 23 The men of Ammon and Moab rose up against the men from Mount Seir to destroy and annihilate them.

After they finished slaughtering the men from Seir, they helped to destroy one another. Continuing from yesterday’s daily devotion, our verses today show just what can happen when we give YHWH the praise he deserves at all times. He can turn a situation around in a heartbeat. Right when it can seem that all is lost, the situation can make a 180 degree turn just like that.

Remember, whether you want to praise Him or not, He’s worthy. Whether you feel like praising Him, He’s worthy. Even if the situation around you makes praising Him the last thing on your mind, remember, He’s worthy.

We don’t necessarily praise him for the hard times we are in. We praise in spite of the hard times we are in. Is it easy? Of course not. It can be down right hard. Walking out in front of the soldiers armed only with your voice is not exactly the easiest thing to do, but it can bring some incredible miracles.

Let this be a focus in your time of meditation throughout the day. Until tomorrow, shalom!
