You can do this – Deuteronomy 30:11

Welcome to Scriptures for Life with TorahFamily.org. Taking time to focus on the Father’s way.

Deuteronomy 30:11
Now what I am commanding you today is not too difficult for you or beyond your reach.

We’ve all heard at one point or another in our life that the Law was too hard for Israel. That is why many say Yeshua came to deliver us from the Law. But how can that be true in light of this verse in Deuteronomy 30? The fact is, what we’ve heard can’t be true.

Think of it this way, If the Law was too hard for the people to follow, why would YHWH sendprophets with warnings for the people to return to the Law? And how could YHWH be a just God in condemning people for something they were unable to keep from the start?

The fact is, just as our verse says, the Law was not too hard. It never has been and never will be. If you are a parent, would you command your child to do something you know they couldn’t do? Of course not. Likewise, YHWH didn’t give us something we can’t do. So, you can do this.

Let this be a focus in your time of meditation throughout the day. Until next time, Shalom.
