Satan’s offer – Luke 4:5-7

Welcome to Scriptures for Life with TorahFamily.org. Taking time to focus on the Father’s way.

Luke 4:5
The devil led him up to a high place and showed him in an instant all the kingdoms of the world. 6 And he said to him, “I will give you all their authority and splendor, for it has been given to me, and I can give it to anyone I want to. 7 So if you worship me, it will all be yours.”

Satan offered Yeshua all the money and power of the world. Now, let’s stop and think about this for a minute. This let’s us know that physical and financial “blessings” are not necessarily always from the Father. Did you catch that?

We as believers need to be awake and realize that YHWH’s blessings are not always physical or financial. Though I agree that it’s nice to get those kind of blessings. And they are needed to a certain degree if we are going to survive in this world. However, our focus should be on the spiritual blessings.

Don’t be deceived into pursuing that which only Satan can offer. Pursue YHWH and He will give you what you need.

Let this be a focus in your time of meditation throughout the day. Until next time, shalom!
