His Disciples – John 13:35

Welcome to Scriptures for Life with TorahFamily.org. Taking time to focus on the Father’s way.

John 13:35
By this all men will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.

Well, there you have it. It doesn’t get any simpler than that. People won’t know you are one of His disciples because you can quote verses. People won’t know you are one of His disciples because you pursue the Torah. People won’t know you are one of His disciples because you say His name right.

The true test of a follower of Yeshua is one who loves his neighbor. So, do you love your neighbor? What if they believe something a little different than you? Are you going to love them or talk about them? Have you thought about praying for them? Wouldn’t that be loving one another?

Even if it’s something that you believe is so basic to the scriptures, if they differ with you, are you going to talk about them to others? Are you going to defame their name because they don’t agree with you? Or are you going to love them regardless of their view? Even if you believe they are wrong on important issues, do you talk to YHWH for them or do you talk to others about them. What would a disciple of Yeshua do?

Let this be a focus in your time of meditation throughout the day. Until next time, Shalom.
