Glorious – Psalm 66:1

Welcome to Scriptures for Life with TorahFamily.org. Taking time to focus on the Father’s way.

Psalm 66:1
Shout with joy to God, all the earth! 2 Sing the glory of his name; make his praise glorious! 3 Say to God, “How awesome are your deeds! So great is your power that your enemies cringe before you. 4 All the earth bows down to you; they sing praise to you, they sing praise to your name.” Selah

Now there’s a lot in these four verses. However, I want to focus on just a couple of things here. It says to make His praise glorious. Think of that word “glorious” for a second. What does that mean to you? That is how we are to make our praise unto YHWH. Not small. Not insignificant. Not something that is easily looked over. But rather “glorious”.

It says here that YHWH’s power is so great that it makes His enemies cringe before Him. Their pride is brought to nothing when they face the power of YHWH. May we never be mistaken regarding who’s side we’re on. Regardless of the enemies who may oppose us, let’s make His praise glorious in our life.

Let this be a focus in your time of meditation throughout the day. Until next time, shalom!
