Deeds & Wrongs Up in Smoke – Acts 19:18-20

Welcome to Scriptures for Life with TorahFamily.org. Taking time to focus on the Father’s way.

Acts 19:18
Many of those who believed now came and openly confessed their evil deeds. A number who had practiced sorcery brought their scrolls together and burned them publicly. When they calculated the value of the scrolls, the total came to fifty thousand drachmas. In this way the word of the Lord spread widely and grew in power.

Have you ever done something like this before? I’m talking about destroying the things you have in your life that you know are displeasing to YHWH. If you haven’t, my next question is, have you ever examined your life to see what you have that may need to be destroyed? I’m not talking about setting it to the side to put it in a yard sale. That would basically be selling your sin to someone else.

We’re talking about taking whatever the Father puts on your heart and destroying it. Not selling it or giving it away. Destroying it. Ask YHWH today if there is anything in your life you need to get rid of. If He reveals something, make it go up in smoke.

Let this be a focus in your time of meditation throughout the day. Until next time, shalom!
