Too Late? – Hebrews 6:4-6

Welcome to Scriptures for Life with TorahFamily.org. Taking time to focus on the Father’s way.

Hebrews 6:4-6
It is impossible for those who have once been enlightened, who have tasted the heavenly gift, who have shared in the Holy Spirit, 5 who have tasted the goodness of the word of God and the powers of the coming age, 6 if they fall away, to be brought back to repentance, because to their loss they are crucifying the Son of God all over again and subjecting him to public disgrace.

I’ve had many come to me over my years of ministry who were concerned they had fallen away with no hope for them. Many were in tears because they knew in their heart they had fallen away and this verse proved they could not come back.

But please listen. If you have truly fallen away, you won’t be convicted of your sin. If you are convicted of sin, it’s proof you have not fallen away as this verse describes. The Holy Spirit is not going to waste any time on someone who has no hope. If you sense conviction from the Holy Spirit, it’s not too late.

Let this be a focus in your time of meditation throughout the day. Until next time, shalom!
