Blameless & Pure – Philippians 2:14-16

Welcome to Scriptures for Life with TorahFamily.org. Taking time to focus on the Father’s way.

Philippians 2:14
Do everything without complaining or arguing, 15 so that you may become blameless and pure, children of God without fault in a crooked and depraved generation, in which you shine like stars in the universe 16 as you hold out the word of life — …

There’s a lot here, but let’s focus on the opening six words first. Namely verse 14. “Do everything without complaining or arguing.” Do you realize how difficult this can be? It says everything. Now, say that word in your head once or twice. Everything. Let it sink in.

Do everything without complaining or arguing. It doesn’t say to do everything with just a little complaining or arguing. It says with no complaining or arguing. Then verse 15 gives the reason why. “So that you may become blameless and pure.”

That means when we allow ourselves to complain and argue, we are no longer blameless and pure. Complaining and arguing only creates a bitterness deep within us. Characteristics that YHWH does not want in our hearts. I pray you take this verse serious in applying it to your life.

Let this be a focus in your time of meditation throughout the day. Until next time, shalom!
