The Crown of Life – James 1:12

Welcome to Scriptures for Life with TorahFamily.org. Taking time to focus on the Father’s way.

James 1:12
Blessed is the man who perseveres under trial, because when he has stood the test, he will receive the crown of life that God has promised to those who love him.

Ever gone through trials before? Of course you have. We all have. No body wants to go through them. However, when we stay faithful, only good can come about. Like it or not, each day we face is simply a preparation for the next. If we don’t overcome today, we will simply have to face it all over again. It’s called growth.

Yet, even when we pass, remember, odds are you’ll face similar circumstances again. Most likely even at a more difficult level. You might be sarcastically thinking “Well, those are encouraging words.” They are. They really are. Because that means we are growing in Him. He is making us stronger.

This whole life we live is a test that is filled with many tests. The ultimate goal is the crown of life. Let’s not short ourselves one thing in eternity. Take the tests head on. Stand strong in Him.

Let this be a focus in your time of meditation throughout the day. Until next time, Shalom.
