He Cares – Luke 15:7

Welcome to Scriptures for Life with TorahFamily.org. Taking time to focus on the Father’s way.

Luke 15:7
I tell you that in the same way there will be more rejoicing in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who do not need to repent.

This is from the parable of the lost sheep. Yeshua starts the parable by saying, “Suppose one of you has a hundred sheep and loses one of them.” He then describes how the person would leave the ninety-nine until he finds the one lost. Then throws a party for finding it. Yeshua then says, “I tell you that in the same way there will be more rejoicing in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who do not need to repent.”

The initial thought many have is “How can there be more rejoicing over the one than the 99?” It’s not that there isn’t a thankfulness or a gladness for those who have stayed. It’s more to show us just how concerned He is for all of us as individuals.

His care for all of us far more than we can imagine. It just goes beyond our human capacity of reason. Remember, He really does care for you.

Let this be a focus in your time of meditation throughout the day. Until next time, Shalom.
