Show Love – Romans 5:8

Welcome to Scriptures for Life with TorahFamily.org. Taking time to focus on the Father’s way.

Romans 5:8
But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

What an awesome verse! Before we were lovable, He loved us. He reached down and picked us up out of the sin of this world and delivered us. How can we do anything but love Him back? How can any of us do anything but seek out what He wants in our life?

If He puts His finger on anything in our life, how can we even think of debating Him to keep it in our life? Do we really think that after He showed us the truth and brought us into fellowship with Him that His love for us has changed? If He wanted what was best for us then, wouldn’t He want what is best for us now? Of course.

Obeying Him is our way of showing our love back to Him. So when He speaks to our heart about something in our life, remember what He did for us first. While we were still sinners, He died for us.

Let this be a focus in your time of meditation throughout the day. Until next time, Shalom.
