Straight Ahead – Proverbs 4:25

Welcome to Scriptures for Life with TorahFamily.org. Taking time to focus on the Father’s way.

Proverbs 4:25
Let your eyes look straight ahead, fix your gaze directly before you.

So we are to only look straight ahead. Like having tunnel vision. To not get sidetracked in any way. The enemy will do all he can to distract us from that which the Father has for us. That being said, we need to take all the counter measures we can to prevent the enemy from interfering with what the we are to be doing.

This verse reminds me of the words found in the book of Hebrews.

Hebrews 12:2
Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before him endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.

Fix your eyes straight ahead. Fix them on the one who gave us an example. Don’t look anywhere else. When we look straight ahead, we walk straight ahead. Don’t be pulled aside by the distractions of life.

25 Let your eyes look straight ahead, fix your gaze directly before you.

Let this be a focus in your time of meditation throughout the day. Until next time, Shalom
