Transformers – 2 Corinthians 3:18

Welcome to Scriptures for Life with TorahFamily.org. Taking time to focus on the Father’s way.

2 Corinthians 3:18
And we, who with unveiled faces all reflect the Lord’s glory, are being transformed into his likeness with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit.

Change. Not everyone likes it. However, change should be the undercurrent for all of our lives. That’s right. We are to be ever transforming into His likeness. Always. Every day we get up, we should be ever so slightly more like Him. Oh sure, there will be those times when it feels like we take one step forward and two steps back. But as a whole we should always be looking more like Him.

But here’s the thing, this change is a change of choice. It doesn’t just “naturally” happen. When left to ourselves, we always gravitate towards sin. So becoming more like Him is a choice we have to make everyday. A choice to change who we are. A choice that specifically focuses on attacking our current mentality with the intent of changing. To transform our lives into His likeness. Do you focus on change? Are you Transforming?

Let this be a focus in your time of meditation throughout the day. Until next time, shalom!
