Psalm 122:1 – Go to the House (April 16)

Hello and thanks for joining in on to today’s daily devotion. Today is Saturday. April 16th. The 7th day of the Hebraic week. And everybody says “HalleluYah.”

Our verse today is Psalm 122:1.

Psalm 122:1
I rejoiced with those who said to me, “Let us go to the house of YHWH.”

My wife will tell you that since we’ve been married, I have almost always carried my Bible with me. Especially if we were going to over to friends houses, out to eat with friends, family get-togethers or just times where there were going to be other believers around.

The reason? Because you never know when a bible study may break out. That has always been one of my favorite things to do. To break into the scriptures. And how much more fun that is when you have fellow believers with you.

Sharing new insights. Learning new insights from others. Finding new insights together. When you can sit with brothers and sisters discussing the eternal word, it can be so awesome. That is what gathering together is all about. It’s ultimately about growing together in YHWH.

What is your attitude about breaking open the Word with close friends? Is it liked David’s desire in our verse?

I rejoiced with those who said to me, “Let us go to the house of YHWH.”

Let this be a focus in your time of meditation throughout the day. Until tomorrow, shalom!
