Sacrifice – Romans 12:1-2

Welcome to Scriptures for Life with TorahFamily.org. Taking time to focus on the Father’s way.

Romans 12:1-2
Therefore, I urge you, brothers, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God – this is your spiritual act of worship. Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is – his good, pleasing and perfect will.

Living sacrifices. Do you live your life with this mentality? Seriously. When you get out of bed every morning, do you think of yourself as a living sacrifice? Do you prepare yourself for the day to be a living sacrifice to YHWH? When you lay down at night, do you review your day to see how well you did as a living sacrifice for YHWH? Kind of puts things in perspective doesn’t it.

There will be those times in our life when things won’t go as planned. There will be those times when we have to remember that He is in charge and not us. Do you let Him have His way?

Let this be a focus in your time of meditation throughout the day. Until next time, shalom!
