The Adoption – Romans 8:22-25

Welcome to Scriptures for Life with TorahFamily.org. Taking time to focus on the Father’s way.

Romans 8:22
We know that the whole creation has been groaning as in the pains of childbirth right up to the present time. 23 Not only so, but we ourselves, who have the first fruits of the Spirit, groan inwardly as we wait eagerly for our adoption as sons, the redemption of our bodies. 24 For in this hope we were saved. But hope that is seen is no hope at all. Who hopes for what he already has? 25 But if we hope for what we do not yet have, we wait for it patiently.

The blessed hope of the resurrection. I don’t know about you, but I long for that day. The day when we will be changed in a moment. The day that all creation itself is longing for. What a thought. To imagine that even creation itself is longing for that day.

Do you long for that day? If so, how do show it? How do you live it out? Are you preparing yourself for it? Are you making yourself ready? It all starts with submitting.

Let this be a focus in your time of meditation throughout the day. Until next time, shalom!
