Don’t Look Back – Exodus 16:2

Welcome to Scriptures for Life with TorahFamily.org. Taking time to focus on the Father’s way.

Exodus 16:2
In the desert the whole community grumbled against Moses and Aaron. 3 The Israelites said to them, “If only we had died by YHWH’s hand in Egypt! There we sat around pots of meat and ate all the food we wanted, but you have brought us out into this desert to starve this entire assembly to death.”

How many times have we all just shook our heads at the Israelites when we read these stories.? However, it’s pretty easy for us to do that because, well, we know all that followed for them. If you knew what tomorrow or next week or next month held, don’t you think life would a little easier? If you knew the answers to your prayers would arrive in the coming week, would you complain or constantly wish for better circumstances in your life? The same could have applied for them.

Wherever you’re at in life right now, don’t look back like the Israelites did. YHWH has your best interests in mind. Though you may not see it, He does. He really does.

Let this be a focus in your time of meditation throughout the day. Until next time, shalom!
