Foreigners – Exodus 2:22

Welcome to Scriptures for Life with TorahFamily.org. Taking time to focus on the Father’s way.

Exodus 2:22
Zipporah gave birth to a son, and Moses named him Gershom, saying, “I have become an alien in a foreign land.”

Moses said “I have become an alien in a foreign land.” Ever felt that way before? I hope so. This world we live in is not our home. At least not in the condition that it’s in right now and especially not under the leadership that it has. The day will come when Yeshua will rule as king. It’s at that time that His rule will stretch across the whole world with the Torah being the law of the land.

Then we will no longer be foreigners in this world. But until that time, we are the foreigners. Until that time, we are the ones in the minority. Until that time, we continue to pray in anticipation of his return. In fact, I think it’s because of this mentality of being a foreigner in the world that causes us to long all the more for His return. How much do you long for His return? Are you an alien in this world?

Let this be a focus in your time of meditation throughout the day. Until next time, shalom!
