Fellow Servants – Exodus 3:5-6

Welcome to Scriptures for Life with TorahFamily.org. Taking time to focus on the Father’s way.

Exodus 3:5
“Do not come any closer,” God said. “Take off your sandals, for the place where you are standing is holy ground.” 6 Then he said, “I am the God of your father, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac and the God of Jacob.” At this, Moses hid his face, because he was afraid to look at God.

When Moses realized who he was speaking with, he hid his face. He new his place. How about you? What is your attitude toward the maker of the universe? What is your understood position before the creator. If it’s anything but humility and abasement, you may want to rethink it through.

Humility is a trait that should be found in every single believer. Do you consider yourself humble? Do others consider you to be humble? More importantly, does YHWH consider you to be humble? Understanding that we are all just fellow servants together is something that seems to be forgotten all too often anymore. I wonder if that would change if we put ourselves face down to the ground before YHWH more often.

Let this be a focus in your time of meditation throughout the day. Until next time, shalom!
