BFF – Exodus 33:11

Welcome to Scriptures for Life with TorahFamily.org. Taking time to focus on the Father’s way.

Exodus 33:11
YHWH would speak to Moses face to face, as a man speaks with his friend. Then Moses would return to the camp, but his young aide Joshua son of Nun did not leave the tent.

I don’t know about you but I think it’s cool to think that YHWH spoke to Moses the way he did. How he spoke to Moses as a friend. Think about that for a second. How do you speak to your friends? You open up to them about things you wouldn’t share with others. You share your hopes and frustrations.

Isn’t that what we see with them? It’s funny how they would go back and forth with each other. When one was mad at the people, the other spoke for the people. Then not much longer the other would be mad at the people and they switched roles.

How does YHWH look at you? Does He look at you as one He could trust as a friend? Does He look at you as one He can depend on? What should you do in your life to make that happen?

Let this be a focus in your time of meditation throughout the day. Until next time, shalom!
