Positive or Negative – Hebrews 4:13

Welcome to Scriptures for Life with TorahFamily.org. Taking time to focus on the Father’s way.

Hebrews 4:13
Nothing in all creation is hidden from God’s sight. Everything is uncovered and laid bare before the eyes of him to whom we must give account.

I have seen this verse used for the negative in so many messages. But couldn’t this, or even shouldn’t this, be used for a positive thing just as well? I understand the point in saying we can’t think we can hide something from YHWH. But to me, this should be an encouraging thing. He sees everything. He sees the good you do though no one else does. Isn’t that all that matters? As long as YHWH sees the good we do, does it matter if anyone else does? No. It doesn’t.

I believe this should be one of the most comforting and encouraging verses to all believers. Knowing He sees the good we do, we can know He will not forget what we have done for Him. The time will come when He will reward all for what they have done. Everyone will be rewarded accordingly. Be it for the positive or for the negative.

Let this be a focus in your time of meditation throughout the day. Until next time, shalom!
