Who do You Trust? – Isaiah 2:22

Welcome to Scriptures for Life with TorahFamily.org. Taking time to focus on the Father’s way.

Isaiah 2:22
Stop trusting in man, who has but a breath in his nostrils. Of what account is he?

Do you trust in man? Before you answer too quickly, think about this question for a second. By default, we turn to man more often than we think. From the little things in life to the big things, we look to man to help us out or to simply provide the answers we are needing.

Too often we look to man to solve political issues, medical issues, work issues, and yes, even scriptural issues. It’s not that man can’t help us out. The problem is when we rely on man to be the all inclusive solution.

When we do this, we are basically asking YHWH to take a back seat in our lives in whichever area we are doing this. Even if we are keeping YHWH in the equation when looking to man, we need to make sure we are not giving man too much credit. YHWH uses people. This we know. Just keep your trust in Him and not who he uses.

Let this be a focus in your time of meditation throughout the day. Until next time, shalom!
