Genesis 3:21 – Burned in the Fire (June 29)

Hello and thanks for joining in on to today’s daily devotion. Today is Wednesday. June 29th. The 4th day of the Hebraic week.

Our verse today is Genesis 3:21.

Genesis 3:21
YHWH God made garments of skin for Adam and his wife and clothed them.

Did you know YHWH was the first High priest? He made the first sacrifices for sin in the Garden. This means that we are all children of the first High priest. Also, when the Northern Kingdom committed harlotry, we are told she did so with other gods just as the other nations were doing. This means that the other gods were the masculine gender for all mankind, thus implying all mankind in a feminine gender. Since this is the case, please consider this verse.

Leviticus 21:9
If a priest’s daughter defiles herself by becoming a prostitute, she disgraces her father; she must be burned in the fire.

Every person is considered a child of the first High Priest. If we are considered as such in the feminine gender, could we not see this judgment in Leviticus 21? Could it be at the end of all things that we will see the “daughters” of the first High Priest, who committed harlotry with the gods of this world, judged as Leviticus 21 mentions? Yes, we could. And yes, we do.

Revelations 20:15
And anyone not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the lake of fire.

Let this be a focus in your time of meditation throughout the day. Until tomorrow, shalom!
