His Will – Matthew 6:10

Welcome to Scriptures for Life with TorahFamily.org. Taking time to focus on the Father’s way.

Matthew 6:10
…your kingdom come, your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.

Do you live your life for YHWH’s kingdom? Sounds like a silly question. Right? Yet, let’s think about it. Do we focus our choices based on what He wants for our lives or on what we want for our lives. Sometimes it seems we can get stuck in making big choices because we’re not sure what He wants. While at the same time, we go right along in making those “small” decisions because they don’t really matter. Right? But what if they do?

How many times have we heard people refer to John 15:5 that says without Him we can do nothing. But they move right along in life making decisions and never even thinking “Does He really want me to do this?”

The bottom line here is our decisions in life need to be funneled through Him. Just because you “can” do something, doesn’t mean you “should” do something. Remember, we want His will done on earth as it is in Heaven. Ultimately, there is only one way to start making this happen on earth. That’s by making it happen in our lives.

Let this be a focus in your time of meditation throughout the day. Until next time, Shalom.
