Don’t Wait – Proverbs 1:28-31

Welcome to Scriptures for Life with TorahFamily.org. Taking time to focus on the Father’s way.

Proverbs 1:28-31
Then they will call to me but I will not answer; they will look for me but will not find me. Since they hated knowledge and did not choose to fear YHWH, since they would not accept my advice and spurned my rebuke, they will eat the fruit of their ways and be filled with the fruit of their schemes.

How sad this truly is. How often it seems to happen that true repentance only comes when it’s too late. Not until the gavel falls does the reality of ones choices come to light for many. Yet, by that time the door for repentance has been closed. The ramifications of those choices are then brought front and center with no options to avoid or steer clear of.

For some, as with those in these verses, they either don’t take words of warning seriously or they believe they will always have time to make things right. Yet, as we see in these verses, that is not always the case. Look and see what the Father is talking to you about. When you realize He is, address it at that moment. Don’t wait for the time when it will be too late.

Let this be a focus in your time of meditation throughout the day. Until next time, Shalom.
