Many, But Only One – Mark 5:27-31

Welcome to Scriptures for Life with TorahFamily.org. Taking time to focus on the Father’s way.

Mark 5:27-31
When she heard about Jesus, she came up behind him in the crowd and touched his cloak, because she thought, “If I just touch his clothes, I will be healed.” Immediately her bleeding stopped and she felt in her body that she was freed from her suffering. At once Jesus realized that power had gone out from him. He turned around in the crowd and asked, “Who touched my clothes?” “You see the people crowding against you,” his disciples answered, “and yet you can ask, ‘Who touched me?'”

To keep things in context here, verse 24 tells us a large crowd followed and pressed in around Yeshua. Then, this woman who needed healed for the previous twelve years pressed in with determination for her healing. So in the midst of all these people pressing in and touching Yeshua, He only took note of one person.

How many people walk around Yeshua everyday only because of the hype. How many people walk around Yeshua only because their friends are? Are you pressing in to Yeshua? If so, does He take note of you?

Let this be a focus in your time of meditation throughout the day. Until next time, shalom!
