Who Are You Serving? – Malachi 3:16-18

Welcome to Scriptures for Life with TorahFamily.org. Taking time to focus on the Father’s way.

Malachi 3:16-18
Then those who feared YHWH talked with each other, and YHWH listened and heard. A scroll of remembrance was written in his presence concerning those who feared YHWH and honored his name. “They will be mine,” says YHWH Almighty, “in the day when I make up my treasured possession. I will spare them, just as in compassion a man spares his son who serves him. And you will again see the distinction between the righteous and the wicked, between those who serve God and those who do not.”

A scroll of remembrance is written regarding these individuals. Can you imagine having your name written on that scroll knowing that it’s for the express purpose that you will be taken as His treasured possession? Knowing that you will be spared in compassion. What an awesome thought to consider. What an incredible yet humbling thought to imagine that we could actually be thought of by YHWH in that light.

Who are those that are remembered? The righteous and those who serve God. So, who do you serve?

Let this be a focus in your time of meditation throughout the day. Until next time, shalom!
