His Peace – Colossians 3:15

Welcome to Scriptures for Life with TorahFamily.org. Taking time to focus on the Father’s way.

Colossians 3:15
Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful.

In a world filled with chaos, we are called to let His peace rule in our hearts. In a world that seems to only get further away from His peace, we are called to let it rule in our hearts. The enemy will do all he can to take away that peace. There will always be opportunities for you to lose your peace. Always. Maybe we should look at this as there will always be opportunity for us to grow deeper in His peace.

Our verse says to let His peace rule in our hearts. Think about that for a minute. We are to let His peace rule. That means to let it govern. That means to let it be in control. We are to submit our emotions to His peace.

When we let His peace rule in our hearts, we are far less apt to let ourselves be bogged down in worry. We are then far more prone to walk in faith.

Let this be a focus in your time of meditation throughout the day. Until next time, Shalom.
