Always Something There To Remind Me – Psalm 103:11-12

Welcome to Scriptures for Life with TorahFamily.org. Taking time to focus on the Father’s way.

Psalm 103:11-12
For as high as the heavens are above the earth, so great is his love for those who fear him; as far as the east is from the west, so far has he removed our transgressions from us.

I remember being a child and watching cartoons where there would be a little angel on one shoulder of certain character and a little demon on the other. Sometimes this is what it truly feels like for some. But it doesn’t stop there. If someone falls to temptation, it can seem like the enemy just sets on your shoulders constantly reminding you of what you did wrong.

No matter what you do, it can seem like he is right there reminding you of how you failed. Why? Quite frankly, because he’s scared of you. You see, he’s not strong and powerful. He’s a puny little deceiver who doesn’t want you walking in the power and strength of the almighty. So if he can keep you focused on how bad you were, he doesn’t have to worry about how strong you can be.

Let this be a focus in your time of meditation throughout the day. Until next time, shalom!
